Hotel Kong Arthur Rooms

The 4-star hotel Kong Arthur is located by The Lakes in Copenhagen in a majestic white mansion from 1882.

Since 2018 – carried out in two stages from 2018-2020 and from 2023-2024 – the hotel has been renovated and has expanded its capacity from 155 to 219 rooms.

Cph Lighting has delivered our Nola lamps for the beds and desks in all the rooms. For this project we supplied a custom made version for mounting in the wall panels.

Hotel Kong Arthur about the renovation:

“We have expanded Hotel Kong Arthur and have added 64 new Copenhagener-rooms. That’s what we call the new style because it’s inspired by a classical apartment in Copenhagen inner city. It’s a high quality rebuild in a beautiful historic building. Tall panels, beautiful herringbone parquet flooring, coziness, a relaxed atmosphere and rooms furnished to make you feel at home here in Copenhagen’s best neighborhood, at least if you ask the locals. The Nansensgade neighborhood is where the Copenhageners want to live, if the opportunity arises”.

Breakfast restaurant:
The renovation project also included a complete refurbishment of the hotel’s breakfast restaurant for which Cph Lighting also delivered the lighting. This breakfast restaurant opened in the Spring of 2019. Read more about this part of the project HERE!
